This is a list of Colorado breweries. As of May 22, 2012 there are 1,989 breweries in the U.S. This includes both craft and large non-craft breweries. Brewing companies range widely in the volume and variety of beer produced, ranging from small breweries to massive multinational conglomerates. Colorado is a U.S. state that encompasses most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains.
