New to the music scene, Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller merged together their musical talents and created MKTO. MKTO is essentially their initials, but they have described themselves as “Misfit Kids and Total Outcasts.”
They hit the scene in January of 2013 and haven’t budged from their studio. The two members have been doing some concerts and putting music together for the last two years, so the end result is their self-titled, debut album.
I have a feeling that a lot more people will catch on soon. The music is good and worth checking out.
They are the newest thing to the Pop Rock scene and this album will be a great tool for them to get heard. There’s only two guest features, Ne-Yo and Jessica Ashley, but these songs are some of the strongest tracks on the album.
