Runyon Jazz: Good for the HeartIt was the perfect setting for a romantic date-a warm winter night in February, the month of love. And that was the theme for the night: love. A Pueblo Hootenanny
Pueblo’s inaugural contra dance nearly brought down the house January 9th with the traditional acoustic sounds of the Nimble Fingers String Band. More than 130 people from all over the state, including a few of Pueblo’s dance hall regulars, packed the City Park Pavilion to dance the night away as Pat (banjo) and Kate (fiddle) McCracken, along with Randy Muniz (guitar) and Stevey Whited (standup bass) jammed some old country favorites. Ear Candy: The Pueblo Scene

That Indian is Gabe Martinez, drummer for One Fifty One, owner of Nine Till Two Productions, and the reason Dirty Rotten Imbeciles graced our town with their dirty, rotten presence. It goes without saying that Gabe is one of the hardest working gentlemen around town. |
