Gungor | “Us For Them” – Music Review

In the newest chapter of the Gungor saga, they have put together a powerful new single, “Us For Them,” that will put the group back on the map. It might be a little more Pop than the average tune by the Denver-based Christian Rock band, but it is still oddly creative and that’s what keeps the fans coming back for more.

Go ahead and throw out what you know about worship music, because they have totally changed up the game. In this ‘80s tinged gospel, it is a remarkable comeback for the group after a brief hiatus from touring and recording. Instead of a soft and delicate sound, they went for a loud and and extravagant sound that will only propel momentum for their new three full-length albums that they plan to release throughout the next year.

Expect heavy synth, Indie guitar riffs and the magnificently soft-spoken lyrics of Michael Gungor.

The lyrics are inspirational and impactful on many levels, and it’s a chance for them to preach love to those who appreciate good music. I appreciate good music and I appreciate this new track.
